The seven Sacraments of the Catholic Church are administered to the living and are a sign of God’s Presence and Grace in our lives. Here at Christ the King (CTK) we celebrate Baptism on an individual family basis. We have a Communion Programme for our young children and a children’s Sunday Liturgy. Our young adults join with other young adults in the Deanery at St Osmund’s, the Deanery Church, for preparation for Confirmation. Couples are prepared for marriage on an individual basis and can attend a recognised marriage course. The sick and dying are regularly visited and receive the Sacrament of the Sick when this is appropriate. If you wish to receive any of the Sacraments please contact the Parish Priest

It is always a joy to Baptise your child. Please liaise with the Parish Priest and give as much notice as possible. Or, fill in the relevant forms on this site (under Forms) sending them to the Parish Priest.

Congratulations if you intend on getting married. Please contact the parish priest and give at least 6 months notice of your intention to get married.

First Holy Communion is a wonderful moment in a child’s life and represents a sign of growth in the knowledge and love of God for each and every child. Parents who bring their child or children for First Holy Communion are fulfilling the vow they made publicly at their child’s baptism some years before to be the “first and best teachers of their child in the ways of faith”. First Holy Communion Mass on Sunday 19th May at 12.30pm.
