Welcome to Christ the King Catholic Church, Amesbury in Clifton Diocese. Amesbury is the home of Stonehenge and is situated close to Salisbury Plain. We are a family friendly Church, very much part of the Churches Together and warmly welcome visitors. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Sunday: 10.30am (11am as of 15 Sept 19)
Holy Days: 7.00pm
Weekdays: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9.00am (Lauds) Mass 9.15am
Friday: Holy Hour 5.00pm, Mass 6.00pm

Confessions Saturday 5.15pm – 5.40pm

MASS TIME CHANGE

As of 15 September Sunday Mass here at Christ the King will move to the later time of 11am.

St Gregory’s Sunday Mass will will move to 9am. 

CLERGY MOVES

Father Anthony has been appointed as Parish Priest to the Salisbury Catholic Churches. Our new Parish Priest will be Father Saji Mathew, currently Assistant Priest to Salisbury Catholic Churches. The appointments will take effect as of 14 September 2019.

The seven sacraments of the Catholic Church are celebrated with the living; they are a sign of God’s presence in our lives.

 

Parish Diary

11 Aug, Fire Warden Practice, after Sunday Mass.

15 Aug, Holy Day of Obligation. Solemnity of the Assumption Masses at 9.15 am & 7 pm.

7/8 Sep, Fr Anthony’s last Weekend with us. There is a shared lunch after Sunday Mass 08 Sep. Please see notice in the church.
